Where to start is always a challenge when writing about yourself, but let's dive right in!I am a mother to three beautiful little monsters. My ten-year-old is going into sixth grade this year, which is completely and utterly insane. She loves writing just as much as I do and that makes my heart so happy.  My Seven-year-old will be going into second grade and it still blows my mind how my sweet little boy is growing up so fast. He loves anything building-wise. I guess you could say he kind of gets that from me since I build whole worlds and people in my head. My house is constantly covered in Legos, but I’m not complaining because I love building with him. My youngest is finally going into kindergarten. She was so excited to start school that she had been in pre-k for the last two years. She was lucky that our school district offered 3-year-old pre-k and 4-year-old pre-k. She turns six in January and is all of the crazy energy that both my husband and I possess. She definitely gives us a run for our money. She is a sweetheart once you get past her demon front. I guess she gets that from me too.

I have been married for almost a decade to my high school sweetheart. He is my biggest supporter when it comes to my reading obsession and my writing passion. Sometimes I think back and can't believe that it has been 13 plus years together with the same person. Time really does fly when you're having fun. We just recently moved to a little town in Wayne County called Sodus Point, but we both grew up in Oswego, NY.

As I've said before, I am an avid reader, but that didn't start until later in 2021. I really got into books in 2022 and ended up reading over one hundred books. I usually average around ten books a month, depending on the kid's activities. I was never into reading that much as a child and boy, do I regret that. Knowing all the beautiful stories out there that I will never get to read because I don't have enough time in my life is a bummer. Books started off as an escape for me from my crazy life of working and being a mom to three little ones. They're part of my personality now and have made me write again.

I used to write as a child, but nothing more than short stories and I never let anyone read them. Fast forward what feels like a million years, and I have a bunch of full-length novels, novellas, and short stories. I officially quit and started writing full time in December of 2024 and I’m never going back. I have found my dream job and it feels so rewarding to be able to create new worlds and characters for my readers.

Writing and books have literally saved my life. Back at the start of the pandemic, I had awful postpartum depression, and I wanted to find something that made me happy so I could use that to hopefully turn things around. It took some time, but books became a happy place for me. When I couldn't find a book that had what I wanted, I simply wrote the story myself. I didn't care if others liked the story because I had written it for myself, but I decided to publish them anyways. When people started reading my work and liking it, it lit a fire under me to continue writing my stories and for others to be able to experience them with me.

Aside from reading and writing, I absolutely love nature and photography. Together are heaven on earth. Hiking and taking pictures of what the earth has given us is so therapeutic for me and helps clear my mind to get those creative juices flowing. I’ve recently found love for baking and cooking. I’m in full homestead mindset lately with making everything from scratch with items I’ve grown myself.  All my hobbies tie in well. It can be hard to do them all with my busy life.

My motto is always to make time for yourself, regardless of how chaotic your life may be. Putting yourself first does not make you a bad mom, wife, partner, person, or anything else for that matter. It makes you a human, and you deserve to be happy!I hope you enjoyed getting to know a bit about me. If you have any questions or want to nerd out about books, you can chat with me whenever. I can’t wait to take you on my journey of writing books.
